An anti-terrorism court on Wednesday issued perpetual arrest warrants against a number of Muttahida Qaumi Movement leaders in connection with cases pertaining to hate speeches delivered by MQM founder-leader Altaf Hussain.

According to details, the court issued perpetual warrants for the arrest of MQM founder Altaf Hussain, MQM-Pakistan chief Farooq Sattar, Amir Khan and even others.

Earlier on Tuesday, the ATC judge ordered SSP Investigation South Adeel Hussain Chandio to produce Sattar and Khan on the next court hearing on April 6.

Hussain’s incendiary speech targeting state institutions on August 22 last year had incited violent protests, arson attacks and ransacking of media houses by MQM protesters.
