Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited the Lahore Ring Road Southern Loop Project and reviewed the pace of construction at different places sections.
Frontier Works Organisation Director General Lt Gen Mohammad Afzal also accompanied the chief minister, who appreciated the quality and pace of construction and the work of Lt Gen Afzal and his team.
The chief minister was briefed about the progress of construction at the Raiwind Interchange. He said that he was pleased with the quality and pace of the construction of the 22.4 kilometer section of the Ring Roads’ southern loop.
Shehbaz Sharif added that these latest facilities help in eradicating not only unemployment but also increase economic activities. The chief minister also directed the Lahore commissioner’s horticulture division to work around the project and said that arrangements for tree plantations should be made along both sides of the southern loop.
