KARACHI: Seven persons were killed and 14 others were injured in separate road accidents on Sunday in different parts of Karachi.
Three labourers were killed when a speeding car hit their motorcycle at the Super Highway. The dead bodies of the deceased were shifted to Abbasi Shahid Hospital.
A truck collided with a motorcycle at the Hub River Road near Baldia, killing 28-year-old Khan Muhammad and 18-year-old Aqil on the spot. Rescue reached the spot and shifted the dead bodies to Civil Hospital.
Separately, a rashly driven car hit a motorcycle in Model Colony area, killing 20-year-old Zain. In yet another accident, an 11-year-old boy named Wasif was killed when a trailer collided with a car at the National Highway.
On the other hand, at least 14 persons including women and children were wounded when a rickshaw turned turtle in Hub Marble City area.
