Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has called meeting of the Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) parliamentary leaders on Monday at the PM House to discuss national issues including extension in military courts term.
Special Assistant on Foreign Affairs Tariq Fatemi informed all the parliamentary leaders of the ruling party to attend the meeting in this regard. The meeting to be chaired by Prime Minister Nawaz will be held at 11am on Monday, according to sources.
It said that the consultation at length would be made on a set of issues including future strategy of the ruling party and performance of the government at the centre and in Punjab and other areas. The sources said that the constitutional and legal experts would also attend the meeting and would give briefing on possible verdict in Panama case.
In the light of their briefing, a future strategy will be evolved. On the other hand, Federal Minister for Finance and Economic Affairs Senate Muhammad Ishaq Dar will also give briefing on four points of the Pakistan People’s Party in connection with the revival of the military courts for more two years.
