SUKKUR: Sukkur Deputy Commissioner (DC) Raheem Bux Maitlo on Saturday chaired a meeting to review the security arrangements for March 23 –Pakistan Day– in the district.
The DC was briefed about the security measures taken in Sukkur, Rohri and other talukas ahead of Pakistan day.
The assistant commissioners, Social Welfare director, Education district officer and other officers attended the meeting.
On the occasion, he ordered the officials to ensure the peaceful conduct of the Pakistan Day events.
“No negligence would be tolerated in this regard”, he said.
He also urged the citizens to cooperate with the law enforcement agencies for maintenance of law and order.
He also directed the North Sindh Urban Services Company (NSUSC) officials to ensure cleanliness in the city.
