President Mamnoon Hussain stressed meaningful and pragmatic planning for the country’s progress and prosperity while addressing the convocation of the Government Islamia College here on Saturday.
He said that the country has to produce a well groomed and knowledgeable youth that can cater to the demands of the future.
The president urged the youth to equip themselves with the latest knowledge, skills, and expertise to positively contribute in the overall socio-economic development of the country.
Mamnoon Hussain said that in view of the emerging changes in international politics, it is important for the youth to stay aware of global economic trends for future opportunities.
The president said that the Islamia College was a historic institution that has produced numerous great personalities in the past.
He said that there was a dire need for the revitalisation of great institutions so that future generations can follow the glorious traditions attached with them.
