Civilians accuse Badin Post Office of corruption

The applicants for the employment in Military Engineering Services has accused the Badin Post Office of corruption as the staff members refused to issue the postal orders stating a shortage of postal orders as the reason.

Applicants, including Abdul-Jabbar Leghari, Sawan Chandio, and others, alleged that the head post office has made selling out the postal orders to the private firms a source of income.

The private firms sell them at an exorbitant price. Furthermore, those postal orders were being sold in black at a private shop of Badin.

They have demanded the Hyderabad GPO deputy postmaster to take notice of the matter.

The interested candidates rushed to the post office after the advertisement of the employment in Military Engineering Services of grade-1 to grade 10 as the candidates were advised to submit their application along with postal order Rs 100 and 500.
