Two-day leadership training programme underway

LAHORE: The Gulistan-e-Saida is hosting a two-day leadership training programme on the subject of ‘Inculcating leadership skills in Pakistani youth to lead Pakistan as a peaceful, progressive and democratic state free of nepotism and corruption.’

The programme, being held at Aiwan-e-Iqbal, is targeting Pakistani youth of ages 18 to 40 in a holistic and interactive, motivational programme that aims to provide leadership skills, core values of good governance, democracy, responsible citizenship and pristine work ethics based on transparency to be inculcated through an informed and eloquent faculty.

The Gulistan-e-Saida has made a panel of well renowned speakers who will host 13 interactive sessions over the course of Friday (today) and Saturday.

The panelists come from a wide spectrum of professions and will provide an interesting contrasts throughout the sessions. The speakers include Nasira Iqbal, Dr Syed Akmal Hussain, Dr Syeda Arifa Zahra, Dr Khalid Masud, Adeel Hashmi, Jibran Nasir, and Seema Aziz who spoke on Friday.

Maryam Bibi, Peter Jacob, Amjad Saqib, Ayaz Amir, Sara Belal, and Kamran Rizvi are due to speak on Saturday.
