ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) on Thursday conducted airstrikes in Khyber Agency’s Rajgal Valley killing a number of terrorists and destroying many militant hideouts.

The security forces conducted the operation after they received a tip-off about the presence of outlawed Lashker-e-Islam commander Mangal Bagh, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

PAF jets also joined an anti-terrorist operation near Pak-Afghan border early last month, leaving several militants dead, said the media-wing.

According to the ISPR, a number of militant hideouts were also destroyed during the air pounding.
