High blood pressure patients should avoid coffee, fries, dairy

Researchers revealed that Western-style dietary habits are the most prominent reasons for significant increment in the patients of High blood pressure or hypertension.

According to a survey, at least 7.1 million deaths occurred every year worldwide due to the disorderliness of human’s blood pressure.

However, the High BP could be controlled via exclusion of some foods from the regular diets having a low quantity of ‘Sodium’ and ‘Fat’:

  1. Coffee: The caffeine value in coffee could cause a temporary but sharp rise in blood pressure as it narrows blood vessels by blocking the effects of adenosine, a hormone that helps keep them widened.
  2. French Fries: The most popular food amongst people of all ages and lovers of fast-foods but it provides about 19 grammes of fat and 270 mg of sodium in a medium serving.
  3. Dairy: Despite its widely known concept as a great source of calcium for everyone but not for the hypertension patients, as one cup serving of whole milk provides 8 grammes of fat, 5 of which are saturated.
  4. Readymade soups: It gives about 800 mg of sodium in one cup serving regardless warming your body in ongoing winter seasons.
  5. Pickles: An additional commonly diet, usually taken with another meal especially in Pakistan and India, have low calories but loaded with sodium.
  6. Donuts: It is packed with 200 calories with 12 grammes of fat, hence isn’t suitable for High Blood Pressure patients.
  7. Papadum ‘Papads’: It adds ultra-high quantity of sodium in the body although having low calories as made of seasoned dough made from black gram, fried or cooked with dry heat.
