Haqqani has no worth or significance, says Yousaf Raza Gilani

KARACHI: Former Prime Minister (PM) Yousaf Raza Gilani has said that Hussain Haqqani has no worth and significance.

While talking to media after hearing in Karachi’s anti-corruption court, Gilani asserted that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) should not adopt an apologetic behaviour as Haqqani and his statements are of no value.

He stressed that the Abbotabad commission report should be shown and a discussion should be held with him and his foreign minister over the matter.

Haqqani had claimed in a news article that PPP government was taken into confidence over the Abbotabad operation.

Gilani also said that since the country is awaiting Panama case decision , only time will tell who gains benefit from the resurfacing of the Haqqani issue.
