Islamabad Sabzi Mandi Police Station has arrested five gangsters for their alleged involvement in street crimes in twin cities and recovered weapons from their possession, a police spokesman said.
A team headed by SHO Sabzi Mandi Police Station Inspector Asjad Mehmud succeeded to nab five gangsters who have been identified as Ayub Khan, Idrees, Yusuf Khan, Kafeel and Abid. The police also recovered weapons and daggers from their possession.
During the preliminary investigation, they confessed to strike in various areas of Pir Wadhai, Sabzi Mandi and other areas in Rawalpindi. Meanwhile, Tarnol police nabbed two Afghan nationals Juma Khan and Sher Wali for residing illegally in the country.
