SAHIWAL: Three hardcore terrorists were executed at a ‘high-security prison’ in Sahiwal for being actively involved in terrorist activities, according to the ISPR.
The criminals were tried by military courts.
The convicts, Zaman Khan (Harkatul-Jehad-e-Islami), Shawaleh (Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan) and Muhammad Zeeshan (Harkatul Jihad-e-Islami nd) were involved in attacking Armed Forces which resulted in death and injuries to soldiers as well as damage to the government property.
All three of them admitted their crimes before the Magistrate and the trial court.
Of total 161 awarded death sentence by military courts 21 have been executed, the ISPR stated.
