RECENTLY, 30 tricycles were distributed among the disabled by the Social Welfare Department Baluchistan. Indeed, the department must be appreciated for its efforts and should be supported for its social programs in future. However, the problem can’t be rooted out solely by providing 30 tri-cycles without provision equal right to education, employment and etc. 10 percent of the population is disabled who are living their lives miserably. Thus, there is a need for public awareness about their due rights. The Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri is requested to direct the concerned authorities to make and implement effective policies for people with disabilities as soon as possible.
