7 national players take part in 7-day training camp

LAHORE: Seven national players including Kamran Akmal, Mohammad Hafeez, Wahab Riaz, Yasir Shah, Junaid Khan, Hasan Ali and Mohammad Asghar Sunday reported in 7-day training camp for the West Indies series.

Kamran Akmal, Mohammad Hafeez, Wahab Riaz, Yasir Shah, Junaid Khan, Hasan Ali and Mohammad Asghar were some of the players who took part in Sunday’s camp. Pakistan one-day international (ODI) and Twenty20 captain Sarfraz Ahmed boosted players’ confidence through his encouraging words.

Players practised hard in the training camp and fielding was given special importance. The cricketers did catching practice under the supervision of fielding coach Steve Rixon who kept guiding all the players.
