Terming recent visit of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to Sindh “quite late”, Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah said that the premier felt the pain of Sindhi people after the passage of four years into power.
Speaking to media persons at Sukkur, the opposition leader said that “Sindhi people don’t need anything in the name of so-called kindness.” He said that the federal government is only scoring points in the guise of providing basic rights to the people of Sindh.
Shah said the government is doing its responsibility, like constructing expressway in the province, urging the government to provide basic rights to people and so on.
Replying to a question, he said that the claims of the government about development are only claims, adding that overall security situation in the country is deteriorated. He further said that 51 per cent of the population of this country is not safe. He asked the government to admit its failure instead of making tall claims of progress.
