ISLAMABAD: Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) asked producers to resubmit data in favour of their claims regarding hike in price so that a reasonable price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) can be determined.
According to details available, OGRA’s efforts to determine an appropriate price of LPG are being thwarted by a powerful mafia.
OGRA spokesperson has termed the hike in price for household consumers ‘unfair’.
According to the spokesperson, laws constituted in 2001 allow OGRA to set an appropriate price of LPG.
