Army Chief congratulated team Zalmi on their victory in Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2017. Peshawar Zalmi, led by Darren Sammy, had defeated Sarfraz Ahmed’s Quetta Gladiators in the final that took place in Lahore.
ISPR DG Major General Asif Ghafoor was also present during the meeting. He tweeted about the incident, “We r soldiers of Pak & stand with Pak Army in promoting peace & national harmony.
