LAHORE: Punjab experienced heavy rainfall and hailstorm on Wednesday which resulted in the weather turning much colder at night.
More rains are have been predicted by the Met office in the next 24 hours.
Cloudy weather is expected in the upper parts of the country. However, rain-thunderstorm (with light snowfall over the hills) associated with gusty winds is expected at scattered places in Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, upper Punjab (Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Gujranwala, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sahiwal divisions).
A few hailstorms can also be expected in the next 12 hours.
The temperature of some major cities recorded on Thursday morning: Islamabad and Muzaffarabad 7°C, Lahore11°C, Peshawar 10°C, Karachi 21°C, Quetta 4°C, Gilgit 3°C, Murree 2°C.
