Anti-Encroachment drive in full swing

 

Islamabad: Enforcement Directorate of Capital Development Authority (CDA) conducted 56 anti-encroachment operations from February 25 to March 05, and demolished several illegal constructions, removed encroachments, including three illegally constructed rooms, four boundary walls, twelve shacks, two illegal tea stalls, four fruit and vegetable stalls, and three barber shops, in addition to confiscating a vehicle.

During these operations, 645 encroachment items in addition to the 11 trucks of encroachment material were also confiscated which were shifted to the F-9 store.

This was informed during a meeting held at CDA Headquarters which was chaired by Mayor of Islamabad and Chairman CDA, Sheikh Anser Aziz. The meeting reviewed the progress of ongoing anti-encroachment drive of the CDA and the Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad.

On this occasion, senior officers of the MCI and the CDA were also present.
