Zimbabwe might send cricket team to Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Zimbabwe might send its cricket team to Pakistan this year.
It was announced by Zimbabwe Sports Minister Makhosini Hlongwane who held a meeting with Federal Minister for Inter Provincial Coordination Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada.
Hlongwane led a delegation to visit the minister, a day after meeting country’s cricket board chairman Shaharyar Khan.
During the meeting, on behalf of the government of Pakistan, Pirzada formally invited the Zimbabwe government to send their cricket team to Pakistan.
that he would ask his country’s cricket board to consider sending the team to Pakistan.
Hlongwane was of the view that Pakistan is a safe country for cricket and that he would ask his country’s cricket board to consider sending their team to Pakistan.

He applauded the smooth conduct of the PSL final and the stringent security arrangements.
He also praised the Pakistani society for their warm hospitality.
