The government is increasing efforts to address the marine pollution related environmental issues.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Marine Pollution Control Department has been established by the Karachi Port Trust for monitoring and managing oil piers to focus on creating awareness and building the capacities of the Port staff regarding the environmental issues.
