Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) arrested at least 12 alleged drug peddlers and recovered over four kg drugs worth Rs 6 million during raids across the country.
ANF made the arrests in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Karachi, Multan and Peshawar. According to press release issued on Sunday, at least 12 drug suppliers were arrested and over four kilograms of drugs were confiscated consisting of 4.15kg hashish, 270g heroin, 80g opium, 25g Ice and 80g Ecstasy powder worth over Rs 6 million.
The arrests were made under the freshly launched countrywide special drive for apprehension of drug peddlers involved in supply of drugs to students in educational institutions.
