Lahore Police received the final forensic report on the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Z-Block explosion, on Saturday.
According to the police spokesperson, the incident was an accident and not a bomb blast or a subversive act.
An FIR of the accident was registered at the DHA Police Station-A.
A committee led by DIG Investigation has been tasked to investigate all aspects of the incident. “If found guilty of negligence, the responsible individuals will be held accountable,” the spokesperson added.
