KARACHI:Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI) Balochistan Women Wing President and Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) former Vice President Fehmida Jamali on Saturday said the operation Radd-ul- Fasaad has quickly earned universal approval from all stakeholders because of its goal of eliminating menace of terrorism from the country once and for all.
Talking to media persons, she said that the operation was also much needed in the light of escalating terror incidents across the country adding the operation needed a solid conclusion.
However, she added, the national agreement was also required for making such an important decision.
Fehmida said that unless the source of terror was completely plugged or decimated, estimation about success would have to be reviewed though it has been reassuring that the Pakistani forces have hit terrorists’ safe havens inside Afghanistan.
The operation was the last resort for Pakistan when the Afghan government has not been willing to drive the terrorists out of its soil, she remarked.
Fehmida further said people of Pakistan have pinned high hopes on Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa to indiscriminately eliminate the threat of terrorism once and for all to ensure security and peace.
“We must also not forget that the $46bn CPEC project connecting Xinjiang in China to Gwadar in Pakistan has raised concerns in India, which is imperative that we may monitor our borders so that terrorists could be stopped”, she concluded.
