LAHORE: The fifth edition of the annual Lahore Literary Festival is currently taking place today (Saturday) at the Faletti’s Hotel.

The event venue has been changed for the third time amid security concerns prevailing in the country. Not only that, the event has been cut short from a three-day event to a one-day event for the same reason.

Among other sessions, LLF was adorned with the presence of Michael Edward Palin, an English comedian, actor, writer and television presenter. He has written numerous books and travel documentaries.

LLF is a not-for-profit organisation incorporated under the laws of Pakistan and is being funded by the government since 2013.

The festival started at 10 a.m. and is scheduled to conclude at 7 p.m. Seating is on a first-come, first served basis in the three halls.
