Six LeJ terrorists killed in Muzaffargarh police encounter

MUZAFFARGARH: Approximately six terrorists were killed during a search operation in Sultan Mahmud Sarki near Muzaffargarh in the early hours of Friday morning.

According to the police, personnel of Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) launched a raid in Muzaffargarh following a tip off. Six alleged terrorists were subsequently found and killed during the search operation.

There were three more terrorists who managed to escape the scene.

One of the killed terrorists has been identified as Yamin alias Imran.

Weapons and explosives were recovered from possession of the terrorists.

According to the police, terrorists belonged to the banned outfit, Lashkar-e-Jhangvi.
