LAHORE: Security forces Thursday launched a search operation in Gulberg area of Lahore after bomb hoax.
After getting a threat call of blast in Main Boulevard, the officers evacuated McDonald’s and adjoining buildings.
However, no explosives were recovered from the restaurant.
The traffic flow got severely affected in the area.
Earlier, news about an alleged explosion occurred in the parking of Cosa Nostra cafe in Gulberg was surfaced which was later denied by provincial law minister Rana Sanaullah and DG Rescue Dr Rizwan Naseer.
