KARACHI: A 12-year-old girl was killed and four people were severely injured as a roof collapsed on Wednesday after the roof of their single-storey house in SITE collapsed.
Sources said that five people got buried under the debris after a roof of a dilapidated building collapsed in SITE Metroville, area of Karachi.
The residents of the area, on self-help basis, shifted the injured to nearby Abbasi Shahid hospital for medical aid where Shazia, 12 succumbed to injuries while the others including Anwar, Shamsher and Sameer are stated to be out of danger.
