KARACHI: Police on Saturday filed the final challan in the court in Regent Plaza fire incident.
11 people were killed while nine others were injured in the fire incident.
The Regent plaza fire case came up for hearing in the court of the additional sessions judge South on Saturday.
During the course of hearing, police filed the final Challan.
In the challan, it was said that the fire extinguishing system, which was installed in 1994, became useless when the fire erupted. Moreover, the report submitted by the hotel’s administration regarding the fire extinguishing system was wrong.
The court, while issuing notices to witnesses, adjourned the hearing till March 4.
