ISLAMABAD: The National Highway Authority (NHA) has executed fifteen motorways and highways projects during the last three years.
According to Radio Pakistan, Official sources informed that the NHA completed Basima-Nag-Panjgoor-Hoshab Highway (N-85) at the cost of over eighteen billion rupees.
Balance work of 193 km Gwadar-Hoshab section of M-8 was completed at the cost of thirteen billion rupees.
One hundred eleven km Kalat-Quetta-Chaman highway was completed at the cost of six billion.
The NHA completed two section of the Faisalabad-Multan Motorway in 2015 and completed 56 km Khanewal-Multan section at the cost of twelve billion and 58 km Faisalabad-Gojra section at the cost of over nine billion.
Another important project completed during last year was 144 km Raikot-Thakot section of Karakoram Highway which amounted to over six billion rupees.
Earlier, Khunjerab-Raikot section of the KKH was upgraded at the cost of over five billion rupees. About 197 km Sehwan-Rattodero section of Indus Highway was upgraded and the project cost over fourteen billion rupees.
