Eight trucks seized, seven shops sealed in anti-encroachment drive

Rawalpindi Cantonment Board anti-encroachment teams claimed to have seized eights trucks and sealed seven shops during ongoing crackdown against encroachment in the area.

The operation was conducted at Masriyal Road, Tench Bata, Bakra Mandi, 22 Number Chungi, People’s Colony, Ahmedabad, Chauntra, Dhok Syedeain, Kamalabad, Ashan Colony, Marbel Facotry and Usmania Colony and adjoining areas.

Over 120 traders were served notices, while 80 were slapped with fine. Moreover, 35 building owners were served notices for illegal construction in various Cantt areas of Rawalpindi.
