The Punjab Police’s Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has announced a reward of Rs 1 million for any information leading to the arrest a suspected facilitator of the Lahore bombing whose image has been released.
Police believe this facilitator had brought the suicide attacker to Lahore’s Mall Road where he detonated his suicide vest.
The CTD said any information related to the facilitator could be given at CTD helpline 0800-11111.
At least 13 people — among them two senior police officials — were killed when the bomber detonated the explosives strapped to his body in the midst of a crowd of protesters outside the Punjab Assembly on Monday evening.
A splinter group of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) had claimed responsibility for the assault.
The culprit is Shahbaz Sharif whose PMLN Punjab Government harbours Militant Wings that carry out Terror attacks within Pakistan.
