PM Nawaz arrives in Lahore to chair meeting on law and order situation

LAHORE: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif reached Lahore on Tuesday (Today) where he will chair a meeting to review the law and order situation in the city after yesterday’s terror attack at Mall road near Punjab Assembly.

He will be briefed by senior government and security officials.

Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif and National Security Adviser Nasser Khan Janjua are accompanying the prime minister.

PM Nawaz was in Karachi earlier to witness multinational naval exercise Aman-2017.

The premier cancelled all other engagements in Karachi to attend the meeting in Lahore.
