KARACHI: An anti-terrorism court on Tuesday sent former veteran Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Saleem Shahzad to jail on judicial remand until February 18.
The court sought a supplementary charge sheet against Shahzad from police officials in a case related to providing treatment and shelter to terrorists.
Earlier on Monday, the leader was taken into custody upon his arrival at Karachi airport from Dubai.
Saleem Shahzad has been accused of his escape from the country on fake identity card in the 1990s.
He was also declared as proclaimed offender in Dr Asim case.
