MQM’s Saleem Shahzad presented in ATC

The former leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Saleem Shahzad has been presented before Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Tuesday (today).

The accused was taken to the court amid high security for the hearing of various cases against him.

Earlier on Monday, the leader was taken into custody upon his arrival at Karachi airport from Dubai.

Saleem Shahzad has been accused of his escape from the country on fake identity card in the 1990s.

He was also declared as proclaimed offender in Dr Asim case.

Ex-MQM leader expressed satisfaction over the judicial system in Pakistan and said that he will face all the charges against him.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Sarzameen Party (PSP) Chief Mustafa Kamal said that Saleem Shahzad has no link with his party.

MQM Pakistan and London have also denied any connection with Saleem Shahzad.
