Karachi Corps Commander Lieutenant General Shahid Baig Tuesday met the new Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair to discuss the law and order situation in the city.
Muhammad Zubair was sworn in as the 32nd Sindh governor during an oath-taking ceremony held at the Governor House on February 2. This was their first meeting after the governor took the office.
The slot of Sindh Governor was vacant after the death of Justice (retd) Saeed-uz-Zaman Siddiqui.
The appointment came in nearly 20 days after Siddiqui, former governor of Sindh passed away while under treatment in a private hospital in the metropolis.
