ICT admin serves legal notice to Radio Pakistan, USC for paying below minimum wage

 

The ICT administration starts action against Radio Pakistan and Utility Stores Corporation over paying less than Rs 14000 to a labourer on Monday.

About 400 employees of Radio Pakistan and 32 employees of Utility Stores Corporation are working below the labour wages set by the Government of Pakistan.

In regard of flouting labour laws, the ICT administration serves legal notices to Radio Pakistan director general and Utility Stores Corporation managing director. In the past, the ICT administration also took notices against the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Pakistan Agriculture Research Council (PARC) for paying less than Rs 14000 to 7000 employees.
