DG Rangers seeks citizens’ cooperation for Karachi peace

KARACHI: Director General, Pakistan Rangers – Sindh Maj Gen. Mohammad Saeed on Tuesday called upon the citizens of Karachi to cooperate with the paratroopers to put an end to negative activities and vowed that the security of all educational institutions will be enhanced.

Addressing a seminar held here at DrAQ Khan Institute, Karachi University, he said universities across the globe play major role in the stability of countries.

He also hailed the educated youth of Karachi for supporting Rangers in its efforts to restore peace in the metropolis.

Maj Gen. Mohammad Saeed assured the KU Vice Chancellor, Dr Muhammad Ajmal, faculty members and students to provide all needed assistance to the university.

He on the occasion suggested that extracurricular activities must also be promoted on strong lines in the varsity, along with academic endeavour.

“These are equally important for our youth,” he said.
