O-level students from Beaconhouse showcased their theatrical prowess at their annual intra-school drama festival, hosted by the Beaconhouse Gulshan Cambridge Campus at Bahria Auditorium, Karachi.
Each performance explored a diverse theme of drama. PECHS Campus portrayed the dark shades of survival in a post-apocalyptic world in their ‘Adaptation of Zombie Apocalypse’. North Nazimabad Cambridge Campus staged a complex murder mystery enfolded with slapstick comedy in ‘The Play That Goes Wrong’, while the Jubilee Campus performed ‘The Oldfangled Echoes’, displaying hues of life and literature.
Karachi Commissioner Ejaz Ahmed Khan graced the occasion as the chief Guest and lauded Beaconhouse’s efforts for promoting literature and arts in the city. Renowned media personalities Maria Wasti, Ali Safina, and Munazza Naqvi also encouraged the students with their presence as judges and awarded titles of best actor and best supporting actor to actors from each play.
