Census training workshop for teachers begin in Khyber Agency

Training workshops for census collectors to prepare for the sixth population census 2017 has been started in Khyber Agency.

Talking to private news channel, Master Trainer, Raees Khan, said that training for 360 teachers of Bara and Jamrud tehsils had been organised at Jamrud Elementary College, while training for 80 teachers of Landi Kotal tehsil was underway at Government High School Landi Kotal.

According to the census schedule, the process would be conducted in two phases simultaneously in all the four provinces.

The first phase will start from March 15 and will conclude on April 15.

During the first phase, population census will be conducted in 62 districts from across the country. The second phase will start from April 25 and will conclude on May 25.

During the second phase, population census will be conducted in 85 districts from across the country. The initial results of the population will be drafted in two months after the completion of population census.

The sixth national census will kick off on March 15 for which a schedule has been issued.
