The Dealer Vehicle Registration System has been launched here at Faisalabad for the provision of speedy vehicle registration facilities to citizens. A launching ceremony was held at the Municipal Corporation Hall with Provincial Minister for Law Rana Sanaullah Khan in attendance as the chief guest.
Addressing the ceremony, Provincial Minister for Law said that the system of dealer vehicle registration was a valuable innovation for eliminating applied for culture, fake dealers, illegal/bogus number plates, and other kinds of crimes committed through applied for vehicles.
He congratulated the Senior Member of the CM’s Special Monitoring Unit Salman Sufi, the Punjab excise and taxation department Punjab and their entire team on devising and launching the system. He said that due to this system the agent mafia and middlemen who were usurping billions of rupees of the nation would become a part of history and that this new system will result in the elimination of corruption and delaying tactics of the excise department.
Parliamentarians Haji Akram Ansari, Begum Khalida Mansoor, Nawaz Malik, Sh Ejaz Ahmad, Ilyas Ansari, Faqir Hussain Dogar, Dr Najma Afzal, Senior Member SMU Salman Sufi, Excise and Taxation Secretary Dr Ahmad Bilal, Excise DG Akram Ashraf Gondal, Deputy Commissioner Salman Ghani, Mayor Municipal Corporation Razzaq Malik, District Council Chairman Ch Zahid Nazir, Excise Addl DG Masud-ul-Haq Excise Director Ahmad Saeed, officers of the excise department, vehicle dealers, traders, local bodies representatives and a large number of citizens also attended the launch ceremony.
