Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and PML-Functional Chief Pir Pagaro on Sunday met former president Pervez Musharraf separately in Dubai and agreed to move forward amicably in future.
According to sources, the leaders discussed current political situation of the country. They also discussed framework for the next general elections in 2018. They also agreed that the opposition parties need to increase pressure on the government.
Chaudhry Shujaat enquired about his health. During the meeting internal and political affairs of Pakistan including regional situation were discussed. Ch Shujaat said that the opposition should be united because this was the demand of not only of nation but also of international circumstances that all opposition parties should gather at one platform.
Shujaat Hussain upon his return will take into confidence his party leaders and devise future course of action, sources added.
Former President General retired Pervez Musharraf left the country in March last year for Dubai where he has already restarted his political activities.
