Overseas Pakistanis Commission resolving 30 cases per week

Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Ameen Wains presided over a meeting with the Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) to review 30 cases of land grabbing, pending money transfers, and property disputes on Sunday, along with the OPC Coordinator Haji Muhammad Nawaz.

The meeting held at the CCPO office on Mall Road concluded with decisions being taken on all 30 of the cases. SHO Johan Town Maqsood Gujjar, SHO Ichra Bilal Hanif, and DSP Ichra Muhammad Ibrahim were awarded Rs 10,000 each for the resolution of various cases of land grabbing and property disputes.

The CCPO appreciated the work being done by the OPC and said that the commission worked speedily after reviewing the cases submitted to it. “The fact that all the stakeholders are under one roof enables a quick response to the applications submitted,” he said.

According to Haji Muhammad Nawaz, the commission deals with and resolves 30 cases every week.
