While addressing students from Cadet College, Pishin, Balochistan, Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that Pakistan can only develop by developing all of its federating units.

“Our joys and sorrows are common and we will distribute our resources accordingly. We will be developed when we work hard and work together. Honesty should be promoted and work should be done to eliminate corruption while national resources should be spent on the people. This is what we have been entrusted with. Looters of national resources should be held accountable,” he said.

1,032 students from Balochistan are studying in various universities in Punjab under the reserved quota.  Stipends worth Rs 14 crore have been given to 3,223 students from Balochistan from the Punjab Educational Endowment Fund.

124 students and 113 teachers are trained at the youth development centre in Murree at the expense of the Punjab government.

The chief minister also announced stipends for 20 of the cadet college students.
