LAYYAH: At least 10 persons including seven students have been killed, while 11 others injured in a traffic mishap near Fatehpur located in Layyah.
A speedy truck going on MM Alam Road went out of driver’s control due to dense fog and smashed into a school van at Fatehpur area in Layyah on early Friday morning, leaving 10 persons dead, while 11 others injured.
The bodies and injured were rushed to District Headquarters Hospital for medico-legal formalities and treatment. The Doctors later referred the critically injured to local hospital in Multan.
The deceased included seven students, two teachers and a van driver.
The police have started an investigation.
