PML-N believes in politics of hard work, transparency, service: CM Shehbaz

Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif said the leadership of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) believes in the politics of hard work, transparency and service.

Members National and Provincial Assemblies from different districts called on Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif here today.

Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister said all projects of the present government under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif are the most transparent projects in Pakistan’s history.

International institutions also praised zero-tolerance policy of the government adopted against corruption, he said, adding the recent report by Transparency International issued from Germany has confirmed transparency and elimination of corruption in Pakistan.

Shehbaz Sharif said, “Our political opponents are perturbed over transparency in development projects and hurling baseless allegations against the government.” He said that well aware people of Pakistan have rejected those levelling false allegations at every occasion and such elements will be defeated again in 2018 general elections.

The chief minister said those who were piling up lies fear that their politics will end once and for all when development projects launched by the government will be completed.

Those who called on the chief minister included Malik Abrar Ahmed, Rais Mehboob Ahmed, Sardar Nawaz Khan, Sardar Khalid Mehmood, Sobia Anwar Satti and former MPA Irfan Ahmed Daha.
