LAHORE: Dense fog blanketed different parts of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) disrupting routine life on Tuesday (today).
The fog also increased the intensity of cold weather.
Due to low visibility, the Motorway section from Peshawar to Rashki Interchange was completely closed while traffic was also disrupted on National Highway.
On the other hand, the thick blanket of fog also covered Peshawar and adjoining areas including Charsadda, Kohat Road, and G.T Road.
The motorway authority has advised people to avoid unnecessary travelling due to zero visibility.
Officials advised that the motorists and commuters should plan their journey in day light instead of night hours.
Fog lights should be used besides reducing speeds and maintain the safe distance in unfavourable weather conditions.
