17 lawmakers have attended the Sindh Assembly sessions despite the fact that Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has suspended their membership.
The ECP has suspended the 17 members of the Sindh Assembly for not submitting their income tax returns. The suspended members include Nusrat Sehar Abbasi, Mukesh Kumar Chawla, Javed Nagori, Ghazala Sial, and others.
They are attending assembly sessions and receiving salaries in violation of ECP directives.
