A robber was burnt to death by a mob in Landhi area of Karachi on Sunday.
Two armed robbers entered a shop and asked the owner to hand over the cash. The owner resisted, prompting one of the robbers to open fire.
People gathered outside the shop after hearing the gun shots and managed to catch one of the fleeing robbers, while the other was able to flee the scene.
After beating up the caught robber, the crowd threw petrol onto the man and immolated him. The robber died on the spot.
The remains were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC).
No first information report (FIR) had been registered till the filing of this report.
